Sydney World Quantity Surveyors (Pty) Ltd operates as a financial consultant in construction industry advising clients on construction cost estimates, optimal allocation of financial resources and project resources. The practice coordinates with architects, engineers, and contractors to uphold the client’s interests, ensuring quality project delivery on time within budget. 

The establishment and operations of the practice adhere fully to the South African Council Of Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) Codes of Professional Conduct (Clause 4). Our work is guided by a strong foundation of core values that define who we are and how we serve our clients.

Executive Director

Siyasanda Ntshentshe (PrQS, PMAQS) is a registered professional quantity surveyor with the South African Council of Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) and a Professional member of the Association of South African quantity surveyors (PMAQS). Mr Ntshentshe has a diverse working experience from various sectors, varying from government departments, private consulting firms, implementing agents, EPC contractors, Eskom and Transnet Projects. His deep involvement in challenging and complex projects at a young age broadened and sharpened his cost control and contract administration skills.

He obtained his BSc. Honor’s degree in quantity surveying and BSc in construction studies from University of Johannesburg (UJ). He worked for engineering Construction Company where projects ranged from overhead transmission line, Eskom substations, PV solar projects, Transnet electrical transformers, wastewater treatment plants. He worked with different contracts ranging from NEC3 Option B and FIDIC Silver book (Turnkey) contract. He further worked for a multi-disciplinary consulting firm called R&G Consultants where he was involved in various multi-million construction building projects both in public and private sector, the main clients were implementing agents namely DBSA, COEGA, IDC, Mvula Trust and some private clients. The professional service contract used were CIDB standard professional service agreement and PROSCA. He also worked for National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (NDPWI), Mthatha Regional office as candidate quantity surveyor where he gained extensive experience in cost control and management, construction and project management, property leasing and management, etc. He primarily worked on repairs and refurbishment projects for police stations, magistrates’ courts and office blocks.
